© Provided by NDTV Everything You Need to Know About Coke Studio Pakistan’s New Project A wonderful new project from Coke Studio is affirmative action in the best possible sense of the term.
A video shared on YouTube explains how the use of lighting and vibrations will help those with hearing impairments to experience the music of the artistes featured on the showcase.
“As producers, it becomes our responsibility to reach out to the whole Pakistan. Punjabi music, Hindi music, Balochi music – there are so many languages and as many cultures. Coke Studio is created to blur all boundaries through music,” said singers Bilal Maqsood and Faisal Kapadia of Pakistani band Strings, who are also the producers of the show.
The video also features the experiences shared by a hearing-impaired audience.
“Even though we can’t hear the music, but we can feel it,” said one audience member.
“I had no idea that I’ll be experiencing something new here,” added another.

Coke Studio, which is currently in its eighth season, was first aired in 2008.
