Amit Sadh, who will soon be seen in Guddu Rangeela alongside Arshad Warsi and Aditi Rao Hydari, has signed yet another film. The actor will be seen in Mohit Jha’s Bollywood directorial debut.
Mohit Jha is not new to the entertainment industry and has directed some popular TV daily soaps like ‘Hitler Didi’ (on Zee), ‘Parrvarish’ (on Sony), ‘Choti Bahu’ (on Zee) among others. Amit Sadh too started his Bollywood career after gaining popularity as a television actor in series like ‘Kyun Hota Hai Pyarrr’ and ‘Guns N Roses’. The actor, who was last seen in Kai Po Che, will play the role of footballer in this film.
Excited about this, director Mohit Jha mentioned that this film will be an emotional, heart-touching tale of a father and son that revolves around the generation gap. Also adding that Amit Sadh is well versed with football, Jha further revealed that this story will be fictional and will not be inspired by any real life player. The role of Amit’s father will be played by Ronit Roy who played the role of a strict father of Arjun Kapoor in 2 States.
Produced by Eros International, this untitled film is slated to go on floor in October 2015 and will be shot in one schedule of 45 days.
