BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya calls Shah Rukh Khan desh drohi

Earlier today, we had reported that Shah Rukh Khan, one of India’s biggest superstars, was accused being a Pakistani agent by Sadvi Prachi. Immediately after this, comes yet another allegation from Kailash Vijaybargiya, the Madhya Pradesh based senior BJP leader, who has called Shah Rukh Khan as a ‘desh drohi‘ (a traitor).

He said that while India was making a bid to become a permanent member of the United Nations, all the anti-Indian forces including Pakistan were creating a conspiracy. He added while Shah Rukh lived in India, his soul was in Pakistan and also while his (Shah Rukh Khan’s) films made crores here (in India), but he thought of India as intolerant. He also posed a question to Shah Rukh Khan by questioning his whereabouts when hundreds of people died in the 1993 blast in Mumbai and when Mumbai was attacked in 26/11 attacks. Kailash Vijaybargiya’s allegations against Shah Rukh Khan was ‘in response’ to Shah Rukh Khan’s recent remark on the rising intolerance in the country.

Readers may recall that Shah Rukh Khan had recently said that there was extreme intolerance (all over) and that it was really stupid to be intolerant. He also said that religious intolerance and not being secular in India was the worst kind of crime that one could do as a patriot. He added that if there was intolerance to creativity, intolerance through religion, then, we were taking away every step that the nation is taking forward.
