Decent start for Tiger's A FLYING JATT, HAPPY BHAG JAAYEGI holds!

This week’s prominent release, Remo Dsouza’s Tiger Shroff starrer, A FLYING JATT, which released a day earlier (Thursday), to take advantage of the Janamashtmi holiday (in some parts of India), succeeded in it’s endeavour, by netting around 7 crore during the first day.

Given that out of the 45 crore total investment in A FLYING JATT, 20 crore has already been recovered (via satellite rites), the film is all set to be another success for the Jr. Shroff.

Meanwhile last week’s Aanand L Rai venture, HAPPY BHAG JAYEGI, starring Abhay Deol and Diana Penty, held on quite well, netting 17.50 crore (to be validated) during the opening week from India and even the bitterest critics of the film are accepting that just a half decent second week from the 18 crore (budget) film will help it scrape through at the ticket window.

Concluding with Neeraj Pandey’s Akshay Kumar and Ileana D’Cruz starrer, RUSTOM, the film added another 26 crore, thus netting 117 crore (to be validated) in two weeks from India, and will end up as a superhit, in the end count, given that more screens have been allocated to the film, as opposed to second week.
