Salman Khan’s tweet on the song ‘Haal-E-Dil’ from the recently released film Sanam Teri Kasam sent the media in tizzy. The superstar took to the microblogging site where he wrote about the said song being a part of Tere Naam leading to several speculations that he was upset with the filmmaker Vinay Sapru with whom he had worked in the film Lucky: No Time for Love.
Salman Khan tweeted, “Directors of my film Lucky n Sanam Teri Kasam churaud my song from Himesh. lovely song Had selected it for Tere Naam http://youtu.be/zODqTIRL8nQ” The tweet claimed that Salman Khan had already chosen the tune for ‘Haal-E-Dil’ for Tere Naam sequel when Himesh Reshammiya had made him hear the tune some time ago. However, Himesh who is also the music director for Sanam Teri Kasam decided to give it off to the makers of this love story. Rumours had it that Salman Khan was upset with both Himesh and Vinay for doing so but the filmmaker has a completely different story to tell.
Vinay recently claimed that though Salman was initially unhappy about choosing the tune he later on decided to allow the makers to go ahead with it. According to Vinay, whilst they were finalizing the tunes, he insisted on using the said tune for a song in Sanam Teri Kasam. Though Himesh denied it stating that Salman Khan had already chosen it for Tere Naam sequel, Vinay assured the music director that he would discuss with Salman regarding the same. However, Salman Khan who loved the tune was reluctant to give it away initially but after a lot of convincing, he relented. But he also stated that he will be tweeting about the song and how he wanted it for Tere Naam. Hence Vinay clarified that they were completely aware that Salman Khan would be tweeting about ‘Haal-E-Dil’ which was initially destined to be a part of Tere Naam.
Starring Mawra Hocane and Harshvardan Rane, Sanam Teri Kasam is produced by Deepak Mukut in association with Eros International.
