Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one of those actors who has worked with all three big Khans of the industry, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. He says that he is extremely inspired by them.
Talking about the three Khans, Nawazuddin said, “There are a lot of aspects that we can learn from Aamir, Salman and Shah Rukh. Sustaining their stardom for so many years is a big achievement. Even if I don’t look at them as actors, they are individuals who have achieved a lot in their life.”
“Their achievements inspire me tremendously. And they have their own separate identity and special strengths,” Nawazuddin added.
Nawazuddin has worked with Aamir in Talaash, and he will be seen with Shah Rukh in Rahul Dholakia’s Raees. The acclaimed actor says that he enjoyed working with Salman in Bajrangi Bhaijaan. His baddie act in Salman’s Kick was his significant turn towards commercial cinema, after featuring mostly in non-commercial films. The bond between the two has strengthened with Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
Nawazuddin is playing a Pakistani journalist in the Kabir Khan directorial. Though he is playing a serious character, his mannerisms and situations infuse much humour into the film, as is evident from the trailer. Talking about Bajrangi Bhaijaan, the 41-year-old actor said that the director is more important to him than the script.
“A lot of people say that the script is important, and I agree with them to some extent. But I feel that the director is more important than the script. A good director can create magic with bad or average script, but a bad director can kill even a good script. I am more focussed on the director. So for me, the director is more important,” Nawazuddin said.
Apart from Salman Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bajrangi Bhaijaan also features Kareena Kapoor Khan. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on July 17 this year.
