Festive spirit swept the tinsel town with chants of ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’ echoing on the virtual platform, courtesy celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit, Arjun Kapoor and Dia Mirza, who wished their fans and followers a ‘Happy Ganesh Chaturthi’ on Twitter.

Stars like Arjun, Dia, Nimrat Kaur and Sophie Choudry also stressed on the need to go eco-friendly to celebrate the festival as a step towards a better tomorrow.

Ganesh Chaturthi is a Hindu festival which marks the birth of Lord Ganesha, and is being celebrated across India on Thursday.
