On Friday, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor who has enthralled us not just on the big screen but also on social media via his twitter handle was honoured at the first BRICS film festival. In fact Kapoor was honoured by the Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Singh Rathod and Minister of State for External Affairs V.K. Singh for his and the Kapoor family’s contribution to the field of cinema.
After accepting the honour on stage, the actor thanked the organizers saying, “I may be politically little incorrect, but I am an actor not a politician. Later tweeting about the same Rishi posted, “Thank you BRICS. Thank you @Gen_VKSingh MoS External Affairs, @Ra_THORe MoS I&B and @jairamvgj. Huge honour!”
