Radhika Thilak, who has sung more than 60 Malayalam songs, passed away on Sunday (September 20). The singer was suffering from cancer for some time and an infection worsened her condition, which led to her sudden demise.
Radhika Thilak entered the film industry with light music. She became a popular face after her appearance on Doordarshan. The singer has also sung for All India Radio programmes. Thilak has also sung many devotional songs.
The renowned singer is survived by her husband Suresh and daughter Devika.
Chief Minister of Kerala, Oomen Chandy, took to Twitter to offer his condolences.
Osacar Award winner Resul Pookutty also expressed his condolences on the micro-blogging site.
