Tiger Shroff is indeed one of the most popular actors ever since he made his debut with HEROPANTI and from thereon he has been known for moves and kicks. Doing his own action sequences to kissing his actresses in the films, he has carved a niche for himself in Bollywood. Being a huge fan of Hrithik Roshan, he is following the footsteps of his mentor and now he will be seen in a super hero film A FLYING JATT along with Jacqueline Fernandez.
In a candid conversation with Tiger Shroff speaks about his film A FLYING JATT, Hrithik Roshan whom he looks upon, active promotions and why is he not active on social media and more.
Excerpts from the interview:
|ON THE SET OF A FLYING JATT|
After HEROPANTI & BAAGHI, why did you take up a movie like A FLYING JATT?
I have done couple of action-oriented movies and when Remo sir narrated me the script I loved it a lot. It’s not the usual super hero film. He has his own usual traits.
What is A FLYING JATT all about?
(Smiles) He is a mamma’s boy, who is scared of heights. He is fun to be with and always loves to be with kids. He has his own sense of dress and has his own mindset. But Flying Jatt is so scared of his mom and heights that he tries to combat his fears.
You are doppelganger of Hrithik Roshan as well as fan. Did you take tips from him?
No unfortunately he was too busy and I wish I could have got some tips from him. KRRISH and A FLYING JATT are different. I have watched Hrithik’s movie and he is super powerful and is a very serious super hero. While A FLYING JATT is very much connectable he is funny and kids will love him. He romances as well as cracks jokes.
Hrithik Roshan praised the trailer as well as helped in promoting your film.
That’s really kind and humble of him. In fact I am happy that the industry is promoting and supporting the films.
You have become the serial-kisser of B-town, you kissed Kriti in HEROPNATI, Shraddha Kapoor in BAAGHI, Disha Patani in the music video and now Jacqueline Fernandez in A FLYING JATT, so whom do you want to kiss next?
(Smiles) I kissed because the script demanded and I didn’t realize it happened all back to back. Well I want to kiss most of the actresses depending on the script.
Are you open to bold roles?
Only if there is a need. I won’t do a vulgar movie just for the sake of it.
Where other actors flaunt their personal life, you are neither very social nor are you open about your girlfriend?
No, I am very shy in reality. It’s my personal life I don’t like talking about it.
Your sister is entering filmdom, however, unlike you, she’ll be seen behind the camera, as a brother did you guide her?
We have always been raised independently our parents never interfered with our career. We are happy that the way our career is shaping up and if she has decided to be behind the camera I wish her all the best. She knows what she is doing.
Recently, you mocked your name on World Tiger day stating save tiger that includes you. How did you decide to take it in your stride?
Well, it was just in good gesture. When I was a kid I was mocked for my name and I didn’t like it. Now I have accepted it and I like my name. As it was World Tiger’s Day I just posted on animal welfare. Nothing that I mocked myself.
What are your upcoming projects?
As of now I am busy with promotions of A FLYING JATT. I will announce about my future projects when the time comes.
