After Queen and Shaandaar, Vikas Bahl now wants to try his hands at a biopic. Unlike the recent trend of sports biopic, the filmmaker has plans to showcase the educational development in Patna in his forthcoming film. Vikas has been planning to make a biopic on Anand Kumar, the founder of Super 30.
Super 30 is an educational program started by Anand Kumar under the banner Ramanujan School of Mathematics which selects 30 talented yet underprivileged students for the IIT-JEE entrance exams and trains them for free. Anand Kumar who started this initiative in 2002, not only provided kids with studying and lodging facilities but his mother even gave away home cooked meals for them.
Produced by Vinay and Preeti Sinha of Reel Life Entertainment, the said film will be shot extensively in Bihar. The money earned through the film, we hear, will further be used for the expansion of Super 30. However the actor playing the protagonist and other details are still being kept under wraps.
